WEBOct 31, 2017 · You need to leave the power-shift (hare/tortoise) in the low(tortoise) side when changing the high/low/reverse lever ALL the time. The gearbox will tend to be partially engaged in hi side of the power-shift and will cause the gear lever to be stiff when changing and will cause your problem.

WEBAug 24, 2019 · The main issues are as Cowman says, in other words under the gear levers themselves. Take off the panels & get a look in, in the seat side there's a big Allen bolt that clamps the lever pivots, they get very sloppy with wear, I think this was a 14mm Allen key.

WEBJan 1, 2017 · Just a thought, make sure the clutch switch isn't sticking. This is also a common problem, the switch will stick in after you release the clutch pedal & thus remain in low, as you drive it could pop back out anytime shifting into high.
