The closest outlet malls are in Orlando and St. Augustine until the Daytona Tanger Outlet mall opens. The mall in St. Augustine is the easiest to access, only an hour north of NSB on I-95. It is actually two malls; one on each side of the interstate. Takes all day to see it all.
Q:
Hotel near Canal street
A:
Hampton inn on Flager. Super nice place nclose to the beach
Q:
Are there any hotels on Canal if not which one would be the closest?
A:
No hotel on Canal. I would suggest you stay at Hampton Inn on Flagler or Best Western on the beach. More going on on Flagler.

A:
Only about 2 miles just over the bridge from Flagler Avenue which ends at the beach.
