I know nothing about the "Pat Liddy tour." On the tour my Wife, Daughter, and I went on through Walking Tours of Dublin, there was 1 guide and about 15 total guests. It did not feel overcrowded. You can book it through their website, which will show whether Sept 5 is available. Our particular tour guide was very friendly, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. (Just finished his work toward a PhD in Irish History at Trinity.) If you are at all interested in Irish history, I very highly recommend it.
