It's quite a mellow and relaxing walk for the most part and you really don't have to go deep and far to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area so I'd definitely say yes, keep an eye on them however because the water can flow deep and fast and you're very close to it along the trail.

Probably neither. The snow is gone and it only takes a couple of sunny days to dry all of our trails. Wed, Thur and Fri will be sunny and fairly warm. Enjoy!
