The Real Mary King's Close is a sell-out attraction. We strongly recommend pre-booking online before you visit. For hundreds of years, the true story of Mary King's Close has remained untold – until now! A unique and historical 5-star visitor attraction, The Real Mary King’s Close is situated just off Edinburgh’s Royal Mile. Deep beneath the streets of the Scottish capital lies a warren of hidden closes and rooms that have remained frozen in time since the 17th century. Explore this unique site on a 1-hour guided tour led by a costumed expert guide, and experience what it was like for the people who lived, worked and died in Edinburgh’s Old Town.
