Very low user fee. We saw several serious fishers out there. Beautiful view of the Gulf. It is next to a resturant and bar and Gift shop as well as a short walk to a public bathroom. Full review by Cynthia B

Nice place to view the gulf and watch or participate in fishing. Cost is 1 dollar per person and 7 dollars if you are fishing. Full review by Fontenot112

An out of state visitor fishing from a rental boat in navaree sound or bay. What licenses are needed if any?
A:
I paid $7 to fish from off the pier all day. I do not know the cost for a fishing license but you can find it on the Florida fish and wildlife conservation site.

I didn’t see any restrictions on this when we were there, and when I looked it up, this is what I found in a forum. Hope it helps. “There are times on the pier that you could get dozens in a couple hours or less. We did that last year during what looked like a migration, We could see crabs by the hundreds, all headed in the same direction. People were putting traps on the beach as well. It lasted a couple of days. If you can see a few on the bottom, drop a trap close to shore where it will not be in the way of fishermen. Leave it while you fish, then check before leaving. I would not waste my time though if none are seen or none are eating fishermen's bait.”
