What a fun quirky place and statue to take pictures with! Made the child inside this elderly body very happy! We didn't go through the museum, but it looked like it could have been fun. Full review by Susanne T

What an amazing statue of Superman. Metropolis has been proclaimed the town of Superman. Near the statue there is also a great Superman museum. We loved it here. Full review by Bea B

There are small airports in the area. However, I believe the closest major airport will be Nashville International Airport (TN) about 2 1/2 hours away. I would suggest staying in Paducah, KY. You'll find a large selection of the normal chain hotels there and "bonus" it's super close. Search for one across river along Interstate 24. The exit for Hwy 60 has hotels, restaurants, fuel, shopping... Have a "SUPER" trip!!!
