This museum offers several different experiences/tours. We did the Under One Roof tour. The tour guide was so knowledgeable, and really helped us to understand what NYC was like for the working class…Full review by Debra J

Our tour guide Ruth was absolutely phenomenal!! So funny, personable, and well-informed. The tour itself was also so interesting and well-done. Definitely would add this as a must-do in nyc.Full review by Madelynn K

You would probably need to pay to leave in a nearby parking garage. I’d avoid driving in Manhattan if you can. Ubers, taxis, and subways are easier.

You don’t have to pre-book, depending on day and time of year. However if you want to be certain that you get the date and time on a specific tour, I would definitely recommend it.

Yes there is a movie. You can really see it before and after. It is pretty good. Also - they mention the Puerto Rican migration in the 40s-50s if you are interested. It is not on the tour.

They have lockers down near the restrooms, but I'm not sure if they're large enough to accommodate a full suitcase. You might want to call them and ask.
