Short romantic River / ocean cruise / sail. My wife gets sea sickness normal but none here. The captain is awesome, helpful, informative, and interactive. Especially for a Capitan. E is all the above as well and very welcoming and accommodating. He walked around assuring everyone got pictures and answering questions. This is a great introductory/inexpensive option for a way on the water, pregame before a night out, or just to relax and unwind. Highly recommended to anyone. Even the seasoned sailor will enjoy excursion.

How far out does the sail and splash charter go? Worried about sea sickness

It goes a ways out. You do a tour of star island and then go out to a lite island for the day. Depending on the wind and currents it can be quite wavy

I am terrible at guessing distances, that being said,they go out through the intercoastal and you have the opportunity to observe the 17th Street draw bridge opening from underneath, in my opinion is pretty incredible. Then off into open sea but never losing sight of the shore and the Fort Lauderdale Beach skyline. The crew is very attentive to guests needs and could probably best inform you about the days sailing conditions as they do change daily.

They do not go far out. maybe 1 miles. they stay close to the coast. if it is too rough, they do not go out at all but sail the intercoastals.
