The weather did not cooperate when we visited for my daughter's 30th birthday in early April. Wind and rain were on a diagonal and had us soaked as we tried to walk the fields. It didn't bother us…Full review by JinXt M

The majority of our farm is grass, gravel, and dirt, but we have a paved area near our main building. Full accessibility is often determined by weather, durability of your wheelchair or device, and its ability to navigate grass, gravel, and dirt. The position of our tulip fields rotate annually, differing the length between the tulips and the paved area. We have a tram that goes from the main building and drops off at the tulip field and requires a step to get onboard. Weather permitting, we have a tour train for an additional $5 per person that gives a 15-20-minute drive through the fields, also requiring a step to get onboard.

The official tulip festival ends April 29th and in Oregon tulips in general would be done blooming but you will be here in perfect time for the Rose Festival, be sure to go to the Portland Rose Garden-it’s free. While there walk over to the Japanese Garden, it’s beautiful, and the Oregon Zoo is right there and it is a beautiful zoo.
