More of a Tunnel Snooze. A boring drive through a poorly carved tunnel with absolutely no neon lights or other signage along the walls previewing potential sightseeing stops in Yosemite. When you exi…Full review by Manu4842

We took the Valley Floor Tour tram up to the Tunnel View area. We booked the tour in April, not knowing that the "open-air tram" wasn't operating until May. Why don't they mention this in the bookin…Full review by Keith518
We have decided to rent bikes inside the park on June 10 since the shuttles aren’t running. Which bike path is the best to see most views and best path to park the bikes and hike a bit? 3 adults with a 16 and a 10 year old. It’s a bit overwhelming without shuttles to know where to park and walk.

I am wondering if I can get to Tunnel view without a day use entry reservation ticket? Hoping to still be able to see some of the park even if I can't get a reservation

No. To see any of the Park you actually need to go into the Park. Tunnel View is just above Yosemite Valley and several miles inside the National Park boundary. You can make a reservation for the fee YARTS bus to travel into the Park without a Day Use Entry permit. But it does not go up to Tunnel View. The bus just goes to Yosemite Valley.
I’m visiting Yosemite on Sunday June 29, I plan on arriving around 8/8:30am...is traffic backed up throughout the park at the end of June or is it worse in July/August?
If you're traveling south through Yosemite, is there a way to see the Tunnel View? It's been so long since I last visited I can't remember the drive at all.

Not quite sure what you mean. You can get to the Tunnel View from the valley regardless of the entry road that you take.

Download the map and brochure, I recall 4-5 easy trails. I don’t have it handy, but I went on 4 trails of easy flat walking to moderate uphill elevations either with a lot of steps or decent gravel paths. There are also some paved bike paths and the park has a shuttle bus to get you around. You can also drive to some vistas and trailheads. But we used the shuttle. There is also a 2 hour tour by a ranger that’s interesting but may be too boring for youngsters.
