Everything is closed now. Sadly Oakland continues to decline. Vacant stores and restaurants. It’s a ghost town and I don’t know if it will ever be the same.Full review by Greg B

Jack London Square is a nice area to visit on the Oakland waterfront. There were multiple restaurants open, a marina with views of San Francisco and a nice trail that goes along the shoreline. The Ja…Full review by GoVols79

Nice area in Oakland with things to do. They have a movie theater, a bowling alley, bars and restaurants to enjoy. They also have a ferry that will take you to SF.Full review by Leo N

You can walk down to the oldest saloon in California near the Jack London cabin and wolf statue. When you leave Scott's turn right and walk to end of square. Sunday brunch at The Fat Lady on Washington is good. Scott's also has a jazz brunch.

Yes - There are a couple of parking structures and lots. Parking in the structure closest to the ferry is validated if you take the ferry.

If you stay within JLS you should have little concern. It's generally busy and bustling with tourists. I've never seen anything untoward in the Broadway corridor between JLS and the 12th St. BART station, but a single woman walking the Oakland streets at night might have pause.
