It depends on what sort of tourism you prefer. Within Rio: - Visit the statue of Christ the Redeemer on top of Corcovado Mountain - Visit the Sugarloaf Mountain - Copacabana, Ipanema and Leblon Beaches - Botanical Gardens - Lage Park - Santa Tereza Neighborhood , you can get there though the lovely electric trams. - Nightlife in Lapa - Barbecue places (all you can eat) - Quinta da Boa Vista (neighborhood from Imperial times) - Visit to Saara (comercial region in the city center) Around Rio: - Petrópolis (our imperial city), about 1 hour away, in the mountains - Buzios (beautiful beaches) about 2h30min away
