Bridges Academy is a 5th-12th grade secondary school exclusively serving twice-exceptional students: students who are gifted or highly gifted (one exception) and also have learning differences or disabilities (another exception). Twice-exceptional students are often described as quirky, ingenious, outside-the-box thinkers and often have encyclopedic knowledge in their fields of interest, but can struggle with visual/auditory processing issues, ADHD, acute perfectionism, and other learning differences. Bridges Academy helps twice-exceptional students reach their full potential by providing an 8:1 class ratio, differentiating curriculum, and focusing on talent development.
