Turkey Creek Nature Trail in Niceville, Florida is a wonderful place to visit. The boardwalk through the park is 1.5 miles round trip. Trail markers describe the vegetation along the way.Full review by 2TravelersMn

How long is the trail? Is it an area that is "runable"? I will be in the area and have a few long runs that I have to get in while I'm there. 15-20 mile runs.

1 mile one way. It has been extended in the past couple of years, from John Sims Pky entrance connecting to College Blvd entrance. Bathrooms at both ends, a good kayak launch at College Blvd end but I don't know where you pull them out at John Sims, I saw a group pulling out at a swim platform then hauling up steps and out. You can float the whole length if you don't mind cold water!
