There has been a lot of talk about this year’s men’s NCAA Tournament being chalky. Whether it is because of NIL and the transfer portal, as some have suggested, or it’s a random occurrence, there haven’t been as many upsets and Cinderella runs this year.

The Sweet 16 round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament reaches its conclusion, with eight teams vying for four spots in the Elite Eight. Two No. 1 seeds enter the action Friday, including Houston, which takes on No. 4 Purdue in the last game of the third round, and No. 1 overall Auburn, which plays No. 5 Michigan.
