The teen accused of stabbing track star Austin Metcalf to death will not face life behind bars or the death penalty, according to a Texas district attorney.
The GiveSendGo campaign was purportedly set up by the family of Karmelo Anthony, 17, who cops say confessed to the horrific stabbing at a track meet in Frisco, Texas, last Wednesday.
Police have not said what led to the stabbing, but Austin Metcalf's father said it started when his sons and members of the Memorial High track team questioned Anthony about why he was standing near them instead of his own school's team.
