Growing up in East Lansing, Evan Boyd was always a fan of Michigan State and remembers watching athletes like Draymond Green and Darqueze Dennard. Now, Boyd is one of those athletes repping the green and white.

Boyd was rated a three-star prospect out of high school while starring as a receiver for East Lansing. He was named to the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association Dream Team in 2022 after setting a single-season school record with 994 receiving yards. He had 61 catches and six touchdowns as a senior.

Evan Boyd announced his pledge to the Spartans after two seasons with Central Michigan. Boyd was an All-State wide receiver with East Lansing in 2022.
