Several international airlines have resumed flights to and from Indonesia's resort island of Bali, an official said on Thursday, after multiple eruptions of the Mount Lewotobi Laki-laki volcano belched ash up to 10 km (16 miles) into the air.

Indonesia’s Mount Lewotobi Laki Laki volcano is spewing towering columns of hot ash high into the air following the huge eruption that killed nine people and injured dozens of others.

Several flights on different airlines at the Bali airport were canceled due to the ash cloud from the eruption on both Tuesday night and Wednesday.
