Kai Cenat has chosen Kendrick Lamar as the winner in his battle with Drake. In a new interview with Billboard, the content creator dished about his opinion on the feud, and, while Cenat may be friends with Drizzy, he didn’t play favorites in his analysis of the situation.

Kai Cenat didn’t become the most popular Twitch streamer in hip-hop by holding back his real opinions. So while speaking to Billboard for his January cover story, he didn’t hold back when it came to his takes on the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar rap war of 2024.

Another key aspect of Drake’s claims is that UMG “whitelisted” the track so that social media influencers could post videos that included the song without facing copyright issues. He even went on to name several big content creators who did so, including Zias, No Life Shaq, and Kai Cenat.

Cenat then reacted to someone in the chat suggesting that Drake allegedly said UMG “slid” Kai some money. “I ain’t gonna lie, chat. N—as ate that week,” he said as he laughed. “Both ways, n—as ate crazy, gang. I wasn’t even complaining. All my sh–s was monetized.”

Drake is moving full steam ahead with his legal war against UMG. However, the “ No Face ” rapper’s defamation case against his label (which is tied to Kendrick Lamar’s chart-topping diss track “ Not Like Us “) has looped in quite a few bystanders.
