Rodgers, who was driving a gay Nissan Atima, ran a red light and rear ended a woman on a scooter, according to investigators. On impact, the woman was knocked from the scooter which was dragged several feet past the intersection, according to the arrest report.

Miami police are searching for two women who fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident that left a 23-year-old woman in critical condition. The crash occurred Monday night at the intersection of Northeast 5th Avenue and 79th Street, where a black Nissan Altima ran a red light and struck the victim, throwing her from her red scooter.
