Nazem Kadri and Matt Coronato scored first-period goals and the Calgary Flames beat the New York Rangers 2-1 on Tuesday night. Defenseman MacKenzie Weegar added two assists and Kadri aslo had an assist for the Flames who snapped a three-game losing streak.

After Nazem Kadri was walloped last Wednesday by one of the Vancouver Canucks, then followed up with a gorgeous goal only three shifts later, Jonathan Huberdeau joked that his linemate should be looking to take a heavy hit in the early stages of every game.
