Taiwan has just become the latest country to launch a digital nomad visa (as of January 1) and areas including Hualien, Taitung, Tainan, and Pingtung are all welcoming remote workers with open arms. Once acquired, the visa is valid for six months with the possibility of extending for another six months, according to euronews.

So-called foreign digital professionals will be allowed to stay for half a year as Taiwan boasts ‘best digital-nomad environment in Asia’.
