Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) started off the week with a strong jump as some investors latched on to the news that the company is closer to officially rolling out its Full Self Driving product in China, and news that President Trump is backing off some broad tariff threats from a few weeks ago.

The S&P 500 rallied to its highest in two weeks on Monday, lifted by Nvidia and Tesla following signs that the Trump administration might take a more measured approach on tariffs against U.S. trading partners.

Tesla stock is on track for its best day since Trump won the presidential election. Shares are up more than 10% Monday, putting Tesla on pace for its longest winning streak since December and its best four-day stretch since mid-November,
