An Arctic blast is expected to cause hazardous driving conditions across Texas this week. In the Houston area, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch that goes into effect Monday evening and lasts through Tuesday afternoon.

Over 20 El Paso employees with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) are heading to Houston to aid with winter preparations on Interstate 10, the department said on Saturday, Jan. 18. The El Paso team is made up of 24 employees,
