Mr Goyder outlined Qantas’ achievements and promised that the airline would be around for at least another 100 years. He also paid tribute to Mr Joyce, who is in his last year with the airline.

"Qantas has survived 100 years because we've adapted to the environment that we have been in at the time. I want to make sure that this great iconic brand survives the next 100 years," he said.
