The 1960 Edsel was conventionally styled and used more Ford components to cut costs. But it was too late; Ford pulled the plug on Nov. 19, 1959, after building just 2846 1960 Edsels.

Doug has a 1960 Ford Sunliner convertible, very similar to the one he bought new. Joy bought a 1973 Mercury Cougar convertible like the one she and her husband bought new in Campbell River.

Besides the 1960 Ford Thunderbird convertible, his garage also hosts a 1968 Ford Mustang. Although he owns a couple of cool vintage cars, he has a few high-profile brands, as well.
