Anheuser-Busch and 1st Phorm, a sports nutrition and supplements company, are partnering to launch innovations in the growing energy drink and related beverage segments. Their first energy drink is expected to be available by this summer and will be distributed by Anheuser-Busch’s network of wholesaler partners.

Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD) announced during the week a tantalizing plan to re-enter the energy drink category through a partnership with supplement and nutrition company 1st Phorm Energy and UFC boss Dana White.

Busch and 1st Phorm, a premier sports nutrition and supplements company, today announced plans to form a new partnership aimed at fueling new innovations within the rapidly growing energy drinks and related beverage segments.

The unnamed beverage, a collaboration with sports nutrition and supplements company 1st Phorm, is expected to debut this summer.

Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD) announced on Thursday that the company is forming a new partnership with and St. Louis, Missouri-based 1st Phorm, which is a premier sports nutrition and supplements company.

Busch, 1st Phorm collaboration is set to be released this summer. The collaboration will include Dana White, president and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
