Do you know what type of cable I would need? Could I use a standard Molex to 4 pin fan adapter, just wire up the pins on the Molex end that are typically not connected?

A 12" or so long female-female 4-pin Molex cable would seem to solve my problem (minus powering the floppy and CD, which is less critical).
