The reading a few weeks ago was about a man who presented to Elisha 20 barley loaves that were supposed to feed a town. The man was afraid he was going to run out of loaves.

If the “miracle” of the loaves and fishes was that Jesus got everyone to share their food, then why would they want to make him king because of that?

There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fishes; but what good are these for so many?’” the text continues. It is easy for us to feel overwhelmed.
