INDIANAPOLIS — Officials with Butler University recently announced that one of the university’s trustees has committed a $12 million gift to support the university’s women’s athletics program.

At first glance, Butler University seems much different than it was before. And for the day-to-day life on the campus, that may be largely true, said Butler’s president James Danko.
