Endeavor's $25 billion go-private deal with Silver Lake closed. Ari Emanuel is giving up the CEO role, with the renamed WME Group led by Mark Shapiro.

Ari Emanuel has scored a cash payout of $173.8 million from Silver Lake's deal to take Endeavor Group Holdings private, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchanges Commission on Monday.

Beverly Hills entertainment company Endeavor became a privately owned company Monday, with Ari Emanuel, previously the CEO, becoming executive chairman of WME Group — which runs businesses such as the WME talent agency and IMG Licensing.
