Women's clothing brand Isme has unveiled new programme sponsorship idents for Drama on Channel 5.

Channel 5 has rebuilt its entire brand portfolio from scratch and is launching new logos and idents for each channel as it bids to create a more high-end look to reflect new programming.

An ident made by channel 4 to celebrate The Simpson’s airing on the channel in 2006 is to feature in a forthcoming episode of the show, broadcasting in the US this weekend (Saturday 25 January).

Martin Lambie-Nairn, the noted designer who created popular "idents" for the BBC and Channel 4, has died aged 75.
