The North Texas Tollway Authority opened the extension, part of the Dallas North Tollway over U.S. 380, and the first part of a Phase 4 project for Collin and Denton counties.

This week, the Town Council and the Prosper Economic Development Corp. approved a 157-acre mixed-use development for the northwest corner of where U.S. 380 meets the Dallas North Tollway.

The new lane will go in each of direction of the DNT between Sam Rayburn Tollway and US 380 in Frisco. It will also include ramp and intersection improvements.
