A nod to the show’s diamond anniversary – Doctor Who first aired nearly 60 years ago in 1963 – the throwback logo has an art-deco inspired design that was shown in a 12-second video on Twitter.

The designer revealed on Twitter today that the new logo for Jodie Whittaker's Doctor Who era was actually just a fake he created to see if he could dupe fans.
