The start-up sold the first 100 bikes for $400 (£255) then increased the price increased to $500 (£320). In future it will rise to $600 (£385), according to a CNN report.

Superstrata will start at $2,799 for the Terra and $3,999 for the Ion. (Preorders can be had for $1,799.) The company is launching its preorder in July and will start delivering bikes later this year.
