Seventeenth Street NW, near Dupont Circle, became a colorful, costumed pageant, Tuesday night, as it does every year during this time, for the 33rd annual High Heel Race.

On Friday, the Supreme Court justice wore silver glitter high heels to present the inaugural Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
