A man ended up behind bars after a car chase in the early morning hours of Wednesday, according to a release issued by the Mesa County Police Department.

Updated on Dec. 19, 2024 at 12:19 p.m. A 39-year-old man is in Mesa County Jail for attacking an employee of a Grand Junction television station after first confronting him about his nationality.

On the downside, Grand Junction’s median household income of $62,993 is a little over two-thirds the statewide average and a smaller share of residents are college-educated.
