Ivica Kalinić, 53, has been named as the new coach of HNK Hajduk Split, replacing Ante Miše, who resigned in the immediate aftermath of Sunday's 1-0 home defeat by NK Zadar in Croatia's Prva Liga.

Ivica Olić will miss UEFA EURO 2012 after tests in Munich confirmed he had torn a hamstring, prompting Croatia coach Slaven Bilić to call up Nikola Kalinić as a replacement.
