In a move to focus more on growing the Jack in the Box Brand, the San Diego-based company is also mulling selling Del Taco.

Jack in the Box plans to close up to 200 of its restaurants and is considering the sale of its Del Taco brand, the company said in a news release.

Jack in the Box is currently targeting 150 to 200 restaurants as part of its closing plan. Chain Store Age says the closings will be spread across two years. As many as 120 stores could potentially close in 2025, with the remainder of the closings happening in 2026.
