How can we best move beyond saying factually as the demons do “I know who you are” but truly striving to know who Christ is — the Holy One of God?

You are no longer yourself. Your new identity is in Christ, and Christ is the word of God. Therefore, my question to you is this: What is it that is written about you in the scriptures?

He explained: “The value of life lies in who you are, not in what you possess or in what you are able to do.” Identity is a theme that runs throughout today’s Gospel.

To paraphrase Christ in this Sunday’s Gospel: Okay, you know and have expressed who Christ is to you as others had told you.
