Daimyo Hermitaur will use its large claws to defend itself moving up to your hunter and swiping at it or receding into its shell and blocking your attacks with the fronts of the hard claws.

It also will eject water out of its shell at its enemies. Many of the moevements of the Shogun Ceanataur resemble the motion of the Daimyo Hermitaur with its lateral and forward swipes.
