HOLLY RIDGE, N.C. (WNCT) — The town of Holly Ridge has been without a Mayor for a month now. As of today, Pete Parnian is taking over the job who was officially sworn in on Wednesday.

Holly Ridge Mayor Jeff Wenzel said a special meeting held last week resulted in the decision to not pursue repairs at the Holly Plaza Apartment Complex where mold was found in numerous homes.
