The story of ‘Orangeglo’ watermelon goes back to the 1960s in Poolville, Texas, where it was developed by the Willhite Seed Company, which is well-known for its many varieties of watermelon.

Orangeglo First produced by the Willhite Seed Company in the early 1960s, the Orangeglo is an oblong watermelon with light and dark green stripes, a thin rind, and an average weight of 25 pounds.
