Late ghazal legend Pankaj Udhas was conferred with the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award, 19 years ago, in 2006. And now, he has been posthumously honoured with the Padma Bhushan.

In 1980, Pankaj Udhas gained widespread popularity for his solo ghazal album 'Aahat'. Later, he recorded other successes, including Mukarar (1981), Tarrannum (1982), Mehfil (1983), and many more.

On the first death anniversary of legendary singer Pankaj Udhas, his final track, Baithi Ho Kyun Gumsum, has been released by Bhushan Kumar, honouring the iconic singer’s enduring legacy.
