St. Andrew’s Academy in Mahtomedi announced Friday it will close at the end of the school year. The Lutheran school, which opened in 2001, serves 77 students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

St. Andrew's baseball lost 3-2 to First Academy in the Class 1A state semifinals. The Scots scored two runs in the first inning but were unable to tie the game after First Academy took the lead.
