The 18-wheeler that was suspected of causing a deadly crash near Beltway 8 is no longer wanted by Houston police.

HOUSTON — Hazmat crews were cleaning up Sam Houston Tollway in north Harris County Wednesday evening. A work truck had spilled hydrated lime, according to Harris County Pct. 4 Constable Mark Herman.

Houston police are searching for an 18-wheeler they claim crashed into five vehicles on Sam Houston Parkway on Friday, killing one person, before leaving the scene.
