Mario Kart World was revealed during our first proper look at the Switch 2.

The new Mario Kart World video also suggests the game will have at least 28 tracks spread across seven Cups, along with 24 vehicles. Interestingly, it looks like Mario Kart World has fully formed vehicles; players seemingly no longer select individual parts to assemble a car.
The arcade racer hasn’t yet strayed from its format, but that’s about to change when Mario Kart World is released alongside the Switch 2 on June 5. In the time I spent with Mario Kart World during the preview event, I most enjoyed all the times I wasn’t strictly racing. I was just driving and vibing.
Donkey Kong Bananza” and “Mario Kart World” were easily the best and most exciting games in hands-on play with the Switch 2 this week.
