Like many kids, I grew up watching episodes of Speed Racer, marveling at ... I also recall that most of the Mach 5's gadgetry was actuated via lettered buttons on the hub of the steering wheel.

I got the car up to speed and pushed the button. Pow ... of what may happen in a Speed Racer episode and the upcoming movie. As for driving a real Mach 5, I'll just have to keep pretending.
