A sharps container for syringe disposal sits outside the offices of Access Point Pueblo on June 13, 2024. A citizen push to overturn Pueblo’s recent ban on syringe exchanges has failed.

The syringe ban was brought up originally due to an accidental needle poke from someone helping in a camp clean up with the Roseburg Police Department (RPD).
